Original Rude Boy is a homage to Neville Staple - vocalist in The Specials. His biography has just been published by Aurum Press and the great man tells all about his time as a burglar, growing up in Jamaica, meeting the Coventry Automatics (later The Specials) and being a 2Tone legend.

This is a blog for all those who think Specials vocalist Neville Staple's contribution to the 2Tone story has been constantly undervalued. That it's about time music fans knew and understood how rude boys like Neville played a huge part in the ska revolution of the early 1980s.
